So, after years of procrastination and coming up with excuses, I have finally signed up to do the New York Marathon on Sunday 2nd November 2008. 

As my email said, I am running for Mencap Northern Ireland (http://www.mencap.org), who help young people and adults with learning disabilities.

The fund-raising target is £3000 but I am hoping to raise at least this amount.
