Story

We would like to thank everyone who donated to Conor's Appeal.  As a direct result of your support, Conor has now received his stair climber enabling him to become more independent.

Thank you all very much for your support.

Conor is seven years old and lives in Birmingham.

He suffers from Diplegic Cerebal Palsy -  a condition which results in stiffness and weakness of the muscles. Whilst Conor can stand for short periods with the aid of a frame, he is a fulltime wheelchair user and relies on his mum and dad to help get him around.

Conor is big for his age and his parents are increasingly having problems in carrying him up and down stairs, meaning that he cannot enjoy his independence like other children and that he is unable to stay with grandparents or to visit his friends at their homes.

Conor needs a specialist piece  of equipment called a "stair climber" which will allow others to move him safely and comfortably up and down stairs. For just a few thousand pounds Conor would regain the independence his condition has taken from him and he will be able to enjoy time with his family and friends.

Conor is a bright and lively boy who does well at school and who loves to watch wrestling and playing on his video games. We urgently need the funds to be able to provide the stair climber for Conor and his family so please give generously and help us give Conor the independence he deserves.

Thank you!
