Mission Completed Monday 14th June 2010.

After 9 days of walking through beautiful scenery, undulating hills...and mountains (almost), trips to A and E (well one, courtesy of Andrew and his nut allergy), reuniting with the fabulous creatures in the English countryside (bopping lambs, doe-eyed cows, inquisitive horses) the Alpha Division successfully completed their mission to conquer Hadrians Wall.  We came....we saw....we conquered.......  Just as we were looking forward to a warm bath and much needed change of clothes we arrived in sunny Newcastle to discover our cars were looked into the carpark and Andrew had to scale an iron fence to recover the most minimal of army supplies i.e. General Oliver's milk rations.

Oliver's Army would like to thank their family and friends for their kind donations in helping us to reach our target.

Hadrian’s wall, historic symbol of the Roman attempt to divide and conquer.

Our teams are uniting for a common cause: to raise funds and awareness for the NSPCC’S CHILDLINE by conquering all 80 Roman miles. CHILDLINE helps support and protect children in distress or danger 24 hours a day. Our youngest team member, Oliver, is 7 months old – the inspirational lead from start to finish!

Oliver's Army has two Divisions. Alpha Division will be marching the wall over 9 days. The mission of Beta Division is to conquer the wall in a more ambitious 5 days.
