It provides regular, monthly outings for small groups of isolated elderly people, who share a nice cup of tea and a chat with a volunteer and their family.

its time to pay up for laughing at us. And no donation is too small or too big.  So please dig deep and sponsor us.

We are raising funds for Contact the Elderly.  Contact  the Elderly organises gatherings for elderly people who live alone. Once a month a charity representative takes the time to take a group of between ten and sixteen elderly citizens to visit a different home and spend a few hours in the company of old friends and make new ones. There are currently 340 groups nationwide.
