My story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

May - June 2009, we will be driving from the North Wales town of Conwy, with the aim of reaching the Azerbaijan capital, Baku (on the Caspian Sea). This is part of the "Baku or Bust" event for the charity Gôl. A charity who every Wales football match raise money for orphanages across Europe, see their work here: http://www.golcymru.org

On the way to Baku, we will be visiting 20 orphanages and donating gifts and aid to the children at these many homes in Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia and of course Azerbaijan. Any amount of donation here will make it to these places.

Funds raised between us are going towards medical supplies, basic personal hygiene supplies (toothpaste, soaps, nappies etc), school books, sports equipment.

GOL is the Welsh Football Supporters Charity, who aim to help underpriveldged children, both home and abroad whenever the Welsh National Football Team play. Formed in 2002, Gôl has helped over 30 orphanages, childrens hospitals and schools, in over 21 countries.
