Capita Challenge 2016 · 11 April 2016
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
With nearly 400 miles between our team members, we've pulled our team together especially for the Capita Challenge 2016 in aid of the Prince's Trust. The Prince's Trust work to support 13 to 30 year-olds who are unemployed, those struggling at school and at risk of exclusion. Many of the young people helped by The Trust are in or leaving care, facing issues such as homelessness or mental health problems, or they have been in trouble with the law.
Three in four young people supported by The Prince’s Trust move into work, education or training. The Prince of Wales’s charity has helped 750,000 young people since 1976 and supports over 100 more each day.
We're aiming to raise a minimum of £200 for the Prince's Trust and would greatly appreciate your help in this. Why should you sponsor us?
As a group of four twenty-something ladies, we'd be better placed in an event called "The Road to Rioja" than "The Road to Rio". For some of us, the challenge will be a significant struggle but we're getting involved in a bid to do a bit of good. With members travelling from as far as Bristol and even Glasgow, we're putting in a big effort to generate some sponsorship for this great charity- a donation of any amount at all from you would be very much appreciated by us all!
Furthermore, if we go above £400 then Jess will do the Challenge dressed as a pineapple.
Thanking you in advance,
Team Copacabanter.
xx
