Conquer a Corbett · 7 May 2007

The number of people diagnosed with cancer is growing, we're doing whatever it takes to help more people with cancer get the best care the UK has to offer, whoever and wherever they are. To donate, volunteer, raise money or campaign with us, call 0300 1000 200 or visit macmillan.org.uk

Story

Macmillan Cancer Support is challenging teams to conquer a Corbett during the month of May. Corbetts are the little brothers of the more famous Munros but don’t let that fool you! They offer some of the most stunning views and challenging walks in Scotland.

We have taken up the challenge and will be climbing our local Corbett on Sunday 27th May. Mam na Guilainn is 796 metres high and overlooks the village of Kinlochleven where we now live and we are aiming to raise £1 for every 1 metre(although we want to raise much more!).

1 in 3 people will be diagnosed with cancer. Cancer affects us all and we can all help. By conquering a Corbett we are doing our part to help those affected by cancer. Please play your part by giving generously.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Macmillan Cancer Support will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
