Kendal Sprint Triathlon · 23 September 2012

Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

This page is in memory of my Dad Richard Dutton who sadly passed away from the disease on 11th Jan 2013.

This page is a fundraising page for the Motor Neurone Disease association. I have enlisted the help of my friends to take part in different events to raise money.

Thanks to the Ice Bucket Challenge MNDA is finally starting to get the awareness they desperately need.

My next challenge will be to take part in the Skipton Santa run in November this year so please get donating.

James and I took part in a sprint Traithlon on the 23rd September to raise money for Motor Neurone Disease Association.

The disease has very little publicity and more awareness is needed to help find both a cause and a cure. My dad was diagnosed with MND in November 2010 so the charity is very close to me.

I decided to run a triathlon as i couldnt even run 1 min without stopping. Since then James, my husband Richard and I have cycled from Liverpool to Leeds along the canal. Please dig deep this is a great cause.

Thanks again for your on going support and help.
