Okay, so it might seem a little odd, an Essex girl like me fundraising for a charity based in the scottish borders. The thing is, Callum's trust was set up in memory of an, amongst other things, kind, brave and generous guy. I knew Callum many many years ago and "bumped" into him last year on facebook. He seemed to have taken his experience of cancer as a reason to get more out of life and to help others. Even after he was told his cancer was back and having decided not to have more treatment, he took the time to chat to me about some problems I was having, to try to make me feel good before saying goodbye. He passed away on December 6th 2008

So, I want to give something back, in his memory. Unfortunately my doctor won't let me run a marathon or climb a mountain or any other physically challenging activity so I decided I'd do something that I'd find challenging in another way. I'm giving up chocolate for a month! Those that know me, will think I'm attempting the impossible, it's not going to be easy, but that's the point! Please consider making a small donation, every little helps and please remember to do the giftaid thing if you're a British tax payer
