Story
Hi Guys,
I have now returned from a weeks rest and relaxation in Somerset and thought it was time to say a HUGE thank you to all of you who so very kindly sponsored me. WE DID IT!!!
As you will probably already know I did not win the damned race on the day, however I did beat Jordan and Peter Andre with a time of just over five and a half hours. I say just over because I spent 20 minutes in the St Johns Ambulance tent getting my knee poked, prodded and bandaged (from thigh to ankle) at mile 16. This was a bit of a blow as the first half of the race went very smoothly.
Leonard Cheshire had one hundred runners in the marathon on the day and with your amazing support I have been able to raise in excess of £2,500 for a very worthwhile cause. I have been blown away by your generosity and kind wishes.
However if this is the first time that you are visiting my fundraising page, and would still like to sponsor me, fear not, there is still time - about four weeks to be precise to push this total even higher and break the £3000 barrier.
Thanks again for all your support and don't worry I won't be doing this again!!
Regards
Con
PS As you can see from the picture attached I maintained my Happy go lucky approach throughout.
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.
