Mental Illness affects one in four of us and the numbers are rising. Suicide continues to be the biggest killer of young men in the UK. We cant afford to do nothing. Gofal Cymru supports people to recover, challenges stigma and campaigns for change. Help us afford to do more.

My story

That was awful- 14 hours of wet, wind, then sun, then mist, then rocks, then a 6 hour climb in the dark up Snowdon.

I have never been so terrified in my life. I am so proud of my team- they were all amazing!

So all you need to do is send us a £5 or a £10- when we had that scary climb in the dark!

OK THREE PEAKS - HERE I COME!!!!

Oh dear lord, what have I decided to do. Pen Y Fan, Cadair Idris and then Snowdonia- in just 24 hours. I think I may die! But who cares- all of the effort will be worth it - to know I have made a difference to the lives of people in mental distress.

As you know- I work for Gofal Cymru- but this is not why I am doing this challenge. Mental Ill-Health is a cause I am very passionate about, having experienced depression for most of my adult life. It just goes to show- what you can achieve with the right support!
