On Sunday 11 September 2011 a group of your friends, colleagues or family are going to cycle around the county of Leicestershiire, approximately 100 miles, in aid of Heart Link. This is in recognition and thanks for the care and support Heart Link have provided to Savannah, the daughter of our good friend Jason Foster and all his family.
Heartlink are currently trying to raise £300,000 to update the onsite parents accomodation. This accomodation will allow the parents of ill children to stay at the hospital, allowing them to spend precious time with those they love.
Please give what you can and feel free to join us on our ride of fun.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. A Personal Message from Savannahs Dad, Jason
Hello Friends,
As you may or may not know our daughter Savannah was born with several medical conditions in 2001, thats why we moved from Bishop's Stortford 4 years ago for her to attend a Specialist School in Derby.
In December 2010 she had an unexpected problem with her heart and was rushed to Glenfield Hospital in Leicester to have... a life saving operation.
The care she received was fantastic.
All our friends at Loughborough Police Station have been pretty fantastic too!
So they have organised a Charity Bike ride around all of the Leicestershire Police Stations on Sunday 11th September to raise money for the Hospital's Charity 'Heartlink'.
You are more than welcome to take part or be involved, (let me know) but if you are unable to and wish to contribute please donate what you can.
Thankyou
Jason Foster

Just had a moment with my daughter, signed to her how much I loved her, how proud I was of her and how brave she has been at Hospital with all her operations and other stuff......it brought a tear to my eye..... half hoping/expecting a reciprocal response I was left somewhat deflated when her response was that she loved Jake at school....!
Bless her
