On September 19th I walked 15 miles from Dartmouth to Torquay. This is to raise money for a conference for a group of widows in India. Widows are often treated like second class citizens in Indian society which is why WCM supports groups of widows helping them with basic items like toiletries and providing a place for them to meet together for friendship and fellowship. In January 2009 a team are going to India to put on a conference entitled 'Women of Worth' for these widows to show them that they are valued.
