Colwick Park Lifeguards canoe the Trent · 19 April 2014

It is our vision to have nations without drowning where everyone can safely enjoy being in, on or near water. Since 1891 we’ve been sharing our expertise in water safety, lifesaving, and lifeguarding to educate everyone to enjoy water safely.

Story

Recently Colwick Park Lifeguards, a volunteer lifeguard club which is part of the RLSS, had their lifeboat stolen. The full story is available at this link.

Six of the clubs member will canoe, with no paddling experience, from Trent lock to the Humber bridge, the full length of the navigable river Trent. This is a distance of around 100 miles.

Please give what ever you can afford to help this Nottingham based lifeguard  club replace the missing boat and enable us to return to our operations.

Many thanks for your support
