Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Diving Diseases Research Centre gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

Two people driving to Timbuctu in an car costing £100 to raise money for charity and for the challenge of it as part of the plymouth-dakar challenge.(check out the website on the links page)

The route takes us through France, Spain, Morocco, The western Sahara, Mauritania, into Mali and across to Timbuctu.

We are going to be raising money the fishermans mission and for the hyperbaric chamber at plymouth hospital,which you can support via the 'donate now' page.  They are worthy causes, and all your money will go directly to them - we are funding the drive ourselves. 

In addition to the money we hope to raise, we will be taking vital supplies with us on our trip, medical or otherwise, to distribute directly to those in need on route.

As well as any monetary donations, if anyone has any old camping gear they could donate to us for use on the way it will be gratefully recieved.
All equipment will be donated to the rotary club in Mali and auctioned off along with our car and all proceeds given to local charities in Mali.

Equipment needed ......
Air beds, camping cooker, saucepan, crockery, camping fridge, dried or tinned foods, water containers. Also any old or unwanted mobile phones and chargers, medical and educational supplies will be also gratefully recieved for goodwill gestures on the way.
