I'm delighted to be supporting The Christie charity, by tackling a number of sporting events throughout 2013.

The first event of the year takes place on Sunday 28th April were I participate in the Manchester Marathon. The following week on Sunday 5th May I will be heading south to take part in the Bristol 10k run.

On Sunday 26th May I will be taking part in the Manchester 10k run not once but twice! The first time dressed as The Christie bear  - so this is definitely no easy task as the temperature in the outfit is extremly high. However, I have the support of The Christie - Sporting Events Team on hand who will help me on my way.

I will be updating this page throughout the year to inform you of the other events I will be taking part in.   

 BBC Radio Manchester is proud to be working with The Christie in Greater Manchester  Tune in to 95.1FM to follow patients, volunteers, staff and fundraisers as we raise £1,000,000 to provide chemotherapy closer to patients homes.
