Thank you for visiting my webpage.  I am currently seeking support for UK Deaf Sport to send 100 British Athletes to the Taipei Deaf Olympics 2009. So far, we have not been able to secure funding for this important event from the Government as they are committed to supporting the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games. There are no Paralympic events organised for athletes who are only deaf, except for those who may have additional or multiple disablities. The Paralympic Games already face strict limits on the number of competitor and thus the importance of the Taipei Deaf Olympics Games in 2009 cannot be understated.

It cost £3,000 to send each athlete to the Taipei Deaf Olympic Games in 2009. Any donation that you can give would be greatly appreciated.
