Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

Some of you may or may not know Brian, former employee and good friend of mine. Brian was Diagnosed with Leukeamia shortly before Christmas 2008. Brian had been fit and healthy all his life, fitter than me as it happens. (wouldnt be hard!)

If it wasnt for the tireless work of Charities like Yorkshire Cancer, Cancer research etc, we wouldn't have been as far on with research into treatment as we are. It's down to this research and treatment that Brian is still with us now. Almost fully fit again, and having his final treatments, I cant possibly put into words how much it has 'Hit Home' for me. Im always the one saying that Charity starts at home, and finding excuses not to fork out money for Charities (Except for a few quid here and there!), but I now realise it needs to be done.

What im asking of you, Friends, Collegues, and even associates, is this; 'Would you buy me a Pint if I ran 10k for Charity?'. Thats because thats all it takes. If everyone I know donates the value of a Pint, then I'll be a long way to getting my total.

So in these times of hardship, credit crunch, and general depression, spare a thought for those who aren't here, who could be here, if we all donated that pint. Please give generously.

Many Thanks,

Craige.
