***STOP PRESS*** Erm. It's different. It's weightloss (when wet)! It's... short. A huge Thank you from the three of us, to all of you, who have been so generous with your donations. We have been compeletely overwhelmed by your generosity towards this excellent cause. We had, after one too many drinks, aimed at raising £1,000 for cancer research, with too many people we know being diagnosed this year. It's fair to say we've blown that away with your generosity. Thank you for visiting our fundraising page.Recently one of our good friends underwent serious surgery for Breast cancer.
She now faces several months of chemo-therapy and as such I agreed to enlist the Craneware team to support her over the next few months. (OK give her a bit of a laugh to take her mind off things for an hour and raise cash for Cancer research).
As such Myself, Derek Paterson and Mick Lloyd have agreed to go for the Sigourney Weaver hairstyle from Alien 3 and shave our heads (Again not the most politically correct thing in the circumstances, but cash and smiles are what this is about). Some of you, who are presently more folically challenged, are probably asking what all the fuss (fuzz) is about, but for us with hair we will need to raise a lot of cash to make sure we don't chicken out and go through with this. Please dig deep and sponsor us online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Cancer Research UK will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
