Cranleigh to Guildford (and back!) · 21 May 2009

Every day in the UK, another 240 people wake up to the catastrophic impact of a stroke. The Stroke Association is the leading charity in the UK providing lifelong support for all stroke survivors and their families.

Story

Well done everyone!

The weather was kind to us and we have beaten our target of £1000 for the Stroke Association! The final figure is being calculated and we will publish it as soon as we can. A great big "thank you" to everyone who sponsored us too - now we can really help the Stroke Association continue its fantastic work in our community :D

This fund-raising page will remain open for the next three months for anyone else who would like to make a donation. Thank you!!

The team at Cranleigh Medical Practice have been deeply affected by two of our colleagues having strokes. We would like to raise as much money as possible for the Stroke Association to continue its work in our community, supporting people and families who have been affected by stroke.

On Sunday 19th July, we will be cycling from Cranleigh to Guildford (and back!) and some of us will be walking from Shalford to Guildford. Over the next few weeks you may see your doctors, nurses and health centre staff zooming around Cranleigh on their bikes whilst we train....do give us a friendly wave and lots of encouragement!

Please help us to raise as much money as possible for the Stroke Association! Do send a link to this page to anyone you feel may like to support us.

Thank you for your support!
