4 Miles
Hey everybody,
I'm going to crawl 4 miles for NewFoundations, a charity which gives medical aid to people in the Niger Delta where child mortality rate in underfives is around 70%.
The local healthcare is as such that for example, witchdoctors treat open wounds on children by painting diesel fuel on the wounds themselves. I went out to Nigeria to help out during my gap year for just a week and its really shocking how easy we all have it in comparison. There is some serious suffering out there and seeing it first hand has woken me up.
The crawling is strictly hands and feet ONLY (no knees) with 3 points of contact being kept at all times.
The distance is going to measured out so it WILL be 4 miles or more, i'm willing to crawl a long way for this!
