For the last few years I have been doing long distance swimming events, raising money for charity.  This year for some reason I entered two events, my hardest swim to date in May was the 2Swim4Life event swimming 1 mile, every hour, for 24 hours...

Sadly I only managed 12 miles (~20km) and hope to compete again in 2017...

This August I also signed up to the Thames swimming marathon, swimming from Henley Bridge 14.1km to Marlow Bridge...  Despite not much training following the 2Swim4Life event in May, I managed to complete the event and in a time of 4 hours and 10 minutes...

Thank you to everyone that has donated so far...  I am raising money for a very worthwhile charity, Tommy's the baby charity. Needless to say if you know anyone affected by the work they do you know what a good cause it is.
