Update May 5th 2009

With a total time of 4:14:26, the Crescent Relay Team crossed the finish line in Ormeau Park, finishing 958th out of over 2,000 relay teams. In addition to that, they successfully beat their fundraising target of £1,000! Thanks to everyone who donated via their campaign!

Some of the staff and friends of the Crescent Arts Centre are entering a team for the 2009 Belfast Marathon relay event to help raise funds during the Crescent's refurbishment project.

Work has already begun restoring and repairing the Crescent's 134 year-old building on University Road, Belfast and is due to be completed early in 2010. The hefty cost of restoring this historic building is being jointly funded by DCAL, ACNI, Heritage Lottery and NIEA. However, there's still a gap in the project funding to be filled and we'd like, with your help, to make a modest contribution to that.
