Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I am walking/gasping for breath in the Manchester 10K (26 May 2013) this year, in memory of my beautiful friend Reena Jugnarain, who sadly lost her courageous battle with cancer last November, at the early age of 33. She was a wonderful person and friend to many, always ready for any glamorous situation that may arise and will always been known as the tiny one with a huge appetite (for food and life!).
I am raising money for The Christie, as Reena spent a lot of time there during her illness and they always treated her with kindness and respect, looked after her family during her struggles, and are constantly striving to end this pointless disease, which claims far too many each year. Which is why, myself, Reena’s friends (there are many!) and her fiancé will be taking part in this years Manchester 10K, to try and raise money in her name – so please give generously (as some say, every penny helps!) and help contribute to finding a cure as well as providing support for those who suffer.
