Story

Like a crazy woman I have signed myself up to do the London marathon on 22 April and now have under a month to go! I am fundraising for St Kentigern’s hospice in North Wales in memory of someone dear to me who passed away a few years ago after her battle with cancer. St Kentigern’s looked after Pauline so well and also provided so much support to her family over the years. The charity have experienced major financial difficulties over the last 18 months, only receiving 18% of their funding requirements from central sources, so every little bit you donate will definitely help.

Pauline was the reason I started running and three years ago I managed to raise over £500 for cancer research at the Birmingham Half Marathon so this is my final big push and I hope I can meet my target and raise a few bob.

Also – 2 weeks before the big run I will be raving & skiing till the wee hours for 5 days straight at the Snowbombing festival in Mayrhofen – and no doubt feeling a bit worse for wear on the lead up to the run… so any support I can get will definitely help pull me through!

Please spare a couple of squid for a good cause…

See you on the other side -

Boots XXX

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
