The life of a Charity Manager involves regularly wrapping a cold towel round the head and sticking it into pages of bid writing so once again, I fancy a bit of "light relief" fundraising after a fun run effort  in 2009 (thanks Mark and Sarah) raised over £1,000.

While there's a little crowd in Croatia in celebration of some big birthdays, Fionnuala and I are taking to the Adriatic sea.  There's no organised event so we'll swim until we need fishing out.... or at least until we've done a good few long lengths ( as far as we can push it within lifeguarded waters) to celebrate the decades!
