The Crofter's Convoy team are doing a Vintage Tractor Road up through the Outer Hebrides to raise much needed funds for Maggie's Highland which will start on the 5th May and finish on the 8th May 2022 covering over 300 miles.

There will be 9 vintage tractors and a support vehicle.🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜🚜

The route is as follows: Lochussie to Portree, staying overnight to catch the Ferry from Uig to Lochmaddy then heading down to Eriskay and turning back to Lochboisdale and then overnighting in Daliburgh, then heading back up the Island to Berneray to ferry over to Leverburgh then up through Harris onto Stornaway for another overnight stay and ferry to Ullapool and finally stopping at Inchbae Lodge.

The reason for taking the run over to the Outer Hebrides is to get Maggie's known far and wide for those who need their fantastic service. With the pandemic and getting doctor and hospital appointments cancelled or rescheduled, many, many people have been affected

Maggie's Highland supported people with cancer and their families over 17,000 times in 2021, and numbers will increase again in 2022. However, the charity relies almost exclusively on voluntary donations to meet its £500,000 a year running costs.

We are aiming for a target of £25,000 but the more the better so your donation will be very much appreciated.😊

We are also paying the Accommodation, Ferries, Food and Drink out off our own pockets to ensure every penny raised goes to the Charity.
