Story
On March 5 2011, scores of CrossFit athletes descended on Trafford, Manchester at CrossFit 3D.
One of CrossFit 3D; Adam Chapman, lost his dad Gordon to cancer, in December 2010. Although he was too poorly to ever attend 3D, he fought his cancer like a true CrossFitter. Never giving up, always battling harder even when the going got very tough.
He spent his last few days at St Johns hospice in Clatterbridge, Cheshire.
CrossFit Leeds, CrossFit Central Manchester, CrossFit Tameside all turned up in their numbers and gave it their all. Other athletes all over the country and the world also took part in the same event on the same day. All pitching in and showing their support for an amazing cause.
It was a truly special day, with fantastic athletes pushing themselves to their limits to show solidarity and in turn donating money to raise money for the Hospice which is run by volunteers on a donation basis.
Thank you to all those that took part in Manchester and in various parts of the world.
Thank you to Karl Steadman, the beating heart of 3D who helped make this day happen, Tom Jones from Razorstorm who took some amazing pictures and video from the day, so that we have fantastic memories, and last, thanks to you, for coming to this page and giving some money to this worthiest of causes. To help support people who support those most in need.
