Story
As many of you know my 14 year old nephew Frankie is currently in Bristol hospital after suffering a brain haemorrhage. After a scary time spent in ICU in a coma, where we were told he might have problems with his speech or mobility (or worse) he surprised us all and woke up with no visible problems with either of them. Despite how healthy he looks and the 'dramatic recovery' he still has to undergo weeks worth of tests and treatments in Bristol to get to the root of the problem so won't be discharged any time soon.
My sister Nikki has not left Frankie's bedside since last Thursday (23/8/18) and is currently unable to work as understandably she needs to be with him. Frankie lost his Dad 4 years ago so she has no financial support from a partner to help share the cost of being away from home for so long. As much as we, her family, are doing what we can to help her out we were hoping that you wonderful people would be able to contribute a few pounds to be able to help out at this horrendous time.
We thank God every day that Frankie is still with us and doing so well but he still has a long road ahead of him and we would like to try and help lessen at least the financial worry at this stressful time.
Thank you all for your wonderful messages and concerns over the last week. It really has meant the world. Even if you are unable to donate please share the post.
Thanks so much, we'll keep you updated through this page.

6 years agoUpdate 30/8/18 part 2 The scan doesn’t show what is causing it yet and he has to have a cerebral angiogram which is booked in for Tuesday. This will show more clearly what they are dealing with and what they will have to do in the upcoming surgery. We’re all so delighted and relieved with how far Frankie has come in the last week but as you can see the poor lad has got a long way to go and some scary times ahead. Please continue to share and donate if at all possible. Continued in part 3....

6 years agoFrankie update 30/8/18 part1 First of all can I say a massive thank you from Frankie, Nikki, and all the family for the incredible amount of money that has been raised so far. It really has blown us all away. I just wanted to provide you all with a bit of an update on Frankie’s condition. He had an MRI scan yesterday and got the results today. The blood from the haemorrhage is still there and quite deep in his brain. Continued in part 2 update.... Sent from my iPhone

Hi AndieI wish Frankie a speedy recovery and will be praying for him and his family. I too suffered a brain haemorrhage due to an AVM and had wonderful family support so I know how important it is.
