Story
Our daughter Jessica was diagnosed with a very rare genetic illness which has left her with a number of complicated medical issues and learning difficulties. She now attends St Luke's school in Redbourn which provides education and life skills to more than 100 children from year 4 to year 11 with a variety of conditions and educational needs. It is a small school and we cannot match the impact of many PTA's from mainstream schools. The children have a real need for some playground equipment that will improve their confidence and mobility.
In May, a friend and I are taking on the challenge of the Lake District's toughest 5 Peaks via Charity Challenge : https://www.charitychallenge.com/challenge/116/Lake-District-5-Peaks-Challenge
We will climb to over 3,000 feet, crossing crags and moorland past the Langdale Pikes towards Scafell. Finishing with Scafell Pike and all this in one day!
I hope to raise enough money for the Friends of St Luke's to get them well on the way to their target.
