In december 2017, our little jenson aged 3 months old was taken into hospital unexpectedly. He was quickly diagnosed with bronchilitis and on 16th december he was put into an induced coma and was transferred from hinchingbrooke to addenbrokes paediatric intensive care unit. On arrival at addenbrookes, we were given a room in a nearby home by the sick childrens trust, which was a 5 minute walk from the hospital so we could be close to our poorly boy. we were allowed to keep the room until jenson was well enough to return to hinchingbrooke. this room is sponsored for £30 a night And takes some pressure off families when they need it the most. Without the support from the sick childrens trust we would have had to travel and had less time to support and be next to our boy.
