As-salāmu ʿalaykum My dear brothers and sisters.

Alhamdulillah this Ramadhan Like most years I would like to say its exciting projects, but a very dark real life story which is so close to my home in Pakistan. This is the story of Uncle Saparas aged (66)who lost his wife many many years ago and is living in devastating conditions since. He has 4 children of which one is severly disabled, his children are unable to go to school because he is unable to work, his struggles are out of this world. Many nights he will sleep hungry, children hungry, it’s unimaginable when my sister Hajira Haqani who lives in pakistan made clear to me that his home is a small hut with no roof, and this being the case with many families in that village.

This brother of yours, whom you have always trusted and supported to work on your behalf and deliver your Sadaqah Zakat, and fitrana to the right causes and places is continuing with his mission of humanitarian aid work.

This year, I want to change Uncle Saparas life along with many others.
