My son was seriously injured in Afghanistan in December whilst on tour with UK forces. The care he has received has been fantastic though he still faces a long period of rehabilitation. I therefore want to show my appreciation by fundraising.

I am taking on the fast paced and arduous adventure of the Three Peaks Challenge, which will see me tackle each of the highest mountains in England, Scotland and Wales over 24 hours. I will be doing this to raise money for several military charities.

Military charities provide great support for injured service personnel and their families. They give emotional and financial support when it matters most. These charities are reliant upon the generosity of the general public to ensure they can help the people that so bravely serve our nation, and their families.

Logistical support from various organisations ensures that every pound I raise will go directly to the charities themselves.
