Story
Can you help me get to Uganda to help train up Bible teachers?
I believe that when men and women faithfully proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ by the power of the Spirit for the glory of God the world will be changed! Those who are lost will be found. Those who are dead will come to life!
That is why I'm going with a team from Oak Hill to Uganda for a week in late June to help run a preaching conference. We want to help equip and train the next generation of Bible teachers so that they will be faithful and persuasive proclaimers of God’s good Word. To achieve this, we’re going to do a Bible overview, teach Bible handling skills and model good expository preaching.
This preaching conference is done in partnership with Uganda Martyrs Seminary. A fantastic Bible College which Oak Hill has been linked with for many years.
But to do this important work I need your help!
The whole trip costs £480. Would you be willing to give either a small or large amount?

5 years agoUganda Dairies. We traveled for 24 hours. We lost at football. We won at Volleyball. We caught some chickens. We prayed. We taught a Bible Overview to the next generation of Ugandan Church leaders. We sang Christmas Carols. We visited the source of the Nile. We survived Ugandan driving. Then we traveled for another 24 hours back home. It was tiring. It was energizing. It was lots of fun. Thanks to all those who financially supported me in this trip. Known and unknown. Legends!
