Recently while visiting Bangladesh, from my bedroom, I heard a familiar voice in the living room. It was the voice of Donai, a very hardworking and energetic young man that worked for us and helped me out a lot when I was there previously. So I rushed out of my room... and was surprised to see him sitting on the floor. I enquired and he told me... he was watching his football team from a tree branch and while jumping with excitement to celebrate his team’s goal the branch snapped and he broke his left leg. He was treated at the Sylhet Government Hospital but they failed to mend his simple leg break leaving him to require crutches and unable work.

I felt really sad that this young and good family man would be disabled for rest of his life and be unable to support for his children, wife and elderly parents like before unless we raised the funds to send him to an adequate medical centre for corrective surgery.

So with your generosity I hope we can save this young man from lasting disability and his children and his wife from life time of poverty and destitution.
