Last Eid-ul-Fitr I pledged to help raise £1000 toward its remaining £1 million cost to make the new Burdett Estate BBCA Mosque a freehold. It was opened in April 2017. It's in the heart of its community surrounded by apartment building from all sides. It is not only a place of worship for Muslims but a hub for its community, providing a place to congregate at times of celebration and come together for  support  at  times  of  sadness. I have been attending it and it's predecessor, a few yards a way for 7 years now Alhamdulillah, and found the mosque committee and the local community always welcoming and supportive.

This purpose built, beautiful, modern mosque in Masjid Lane, East London is  not only exemplary because of it's architecture  but  for  it's  cleanliness,  administration  and  the  educational and community support services  it  provides. To  make  it  freehold  we  need  to  raise  a  further £1  million  so that  it  can continue to exist for this generation and next.
