As I wonder how its came to this and I feel like an xfactor auditionee using some sob story to grab some votes, I realise that I am not an unusual story and we all have our crosses to bear.
I've been in hospital for some time now with a brain clot and recently just found one in my lung so of course work has had to take a back seat. In this government's new UC scheme even if you are sick they wont pay your rent if you have some income which is bottom basic ssp. When did it get so bad you have to decide to keep working and die or take care of yourself and be left destitute?

This is my reality and for once I chose me,as I hope some of you kind people also will. I hope to be back on my feet and back to work in July. I cannot wait!!! But rent, heating,grocerys and even fuel to get to work is nowhere near met by our supportive government. I know there are people in worse situations, I'm by far not the worst and that's exactly the point. This could be you at any point, wouldn't you need a little support?
