Story
50% of children in Africa live in extreme poverty.
Less than 12% of African children have access to Early Childhood Care.
500 children in Africa die every day from lack of safe water and sanitation.
Water, sanitation, play. Three things most of us take for granted.
Yet for millions of young children across Sub-Saharan Africa, clean accessible water, basic sanitation, and simple playground facilities are crucial components missing that facilitate the healthy development of holistic young humans.
The impact of this has led to early childhood development issues, the spreading of disease, and in many cases, even death.
Visit our website www.itsthechoices.org to watch a short documentary on Nyansakia II DOK Primary School in Kenya, looking at the effect these conditions are having on the development of its learners.
African Development Choices is a not-for-profit organization on a mission to deliver projects that enhance the lives of under-served children of Africa. One school and community at a time.
Consider contributing to the cause via donation that will have a substantial impact to the early childhood development of these learners, their community and future leaders of Africa.
