My child has quite severe autism and has to have things planned well in advance as he doesn't like to have things changed
However that all stopped on Monday night as we where going to get some things from the local shops and a car went straight into the side of us
Our son has for the last 4 days (today being Friday) constantly relived the event and asked when are we getting the car back as we are going on holiday soon and can't get there with out it can we...!
We are constantly telling him that the car has gone to another place now and yet he keeps asking me to get it back as he loves the car
He is at the moment having to wear a space boot type of cast from injuries that are connected to the car accident
We can not afford to replace the car as it was a gift from a family member after there mom passed away some years ago
We do not own anything of value to sell that would help get a car nor do we have any savings as we are in catch 22 with rent and now having to pay for transportation to get anywhere
We have no freedom to take our child to anywhere for him to learn social, educational or emotional skills for life
In all I only ask for help so I can give my special little boy a chance to be able to learn
