Catriona (Cat) is a sociable, happy young lady with learning and physical disabilities. This does not stop her enjoying life to the full. Cat has a great sense of humour and surprises everyone with her cheeky wit.

Cat lives at home with her mum, dad, brother and cat , Annie.

The interior of her home has been adapted to suit Cat's needs, but as she has got older, she has become more dependent on her wheelchair.

At the moment, she cannot access the house with her wheelchair. She needs to stand and climb steps. Her dream is to have a ramp from the front garden directly in to the sitting room, and one from the kitchen in to the back garden.

We need to build ramps so she can be more independent. The ramps will also incorporate a decked area, so she can sit outside and chat to friends and neighbours regularly.

As you can see from the photo, we are ready to go. The garden has been cleared, a door has been fitted so there is direct access to the sitting room, but there is no way her wheelchair will get up to the door at the moment.
