Scamp is a stray I came across on holiday in Corfu, Greece. Im an animal lover and seeing the amount of stray cats and dogs took my heart the second i landed, i wanted to take them all home. But Scamp especially stole my heart on my 6th night here, id seen him wandering around a few days before and noticed be was much more timid than the other dogs I’d come across, on this particular night i was stroking 3 other large dogs when they darted for poor little scamp who was just sitting under another couples table, it was like something out of a horror movie I immediatley jumped up along with a few other tourist and locals and helped drag the dogs away from little Scamp who was clearly terrified my instincts made me automatically pick him up and a kind local helped shoo the other dogs jumping at me to get to Scamp. I knew then this pup needed me more than any others, he sat on my lap for the rest of the night and followed me by my heel to the hotel, we snuck him in the room and cleaned up the wound on his ear where hed been bitten. He slept like an angel all night and followed me to the shop in the morning to get his food, the shopkeeper scared him away whilst I was inside but when i returned from looking for him low and behold he was sitting on my balcony waiting.

That morning I hired a car and drove across the Island to an organisation called CARE who took him in and will be locating a foster home for him until hes fit to fly back to the U.K to me! There are costs involved in this process which I was absolutley certain I would make it work. Im kindly asking if anyone is willing to help me bring him home, get him a new collar/bed the essentials. Any excess money will be donated to the amazing charity that has taken in my Scamp and gives up their time to care for these animals and find them a home.
