In March I will be volunteering with Travelteer in Sri Lanka with their marine and wildlife conservation branch. The work Travelteer do to help rehabilitate and conserve the beautiful environment in Sri Lanka goes a long way to help tackle plastic pollution and maintain the natural habitats of many different animals.

As well as their work in environmental conservation, Travelteer also work with local communities in agricultural projects, helping to replant the Southern Sri Lankan rainforests after years of colonial deforestation. Another branch of their work is in partnership with local charities that run community textile and design projects, which act as training and education centres for local women.

They’re such a great charity and I really can’t wait to get involved. Anything at all you can spare to donate to their efforts would be so appreciated and really will have an impact as 100% of fundraised money goes directly to their projects! Thank you
