Story
On the 8th of June 2019 I will be participating in The Great North Swim. I will be swimming 1 mile in Lake Windermere in Cumbria. This challenge has reignited my love of swimming and what better insentive to get round the course than raise money for The Happy Mums Foundation.
The Happy Mums Foundation are a non profit organisation funded by Comic Relief and are based in Carlisle, Cumbria.
They have been a total life line for me and my family over the past few months. It's a safe, welcoming and non judgemental setting where I have gradually opened up to speak about my post natal mental health, met some truly inspirational women and understand I'm not alone with how I feel.
Please donate any amount possible big or small all is gratefully appreciated.

£40 left to reach £1,000!! I would have jumped in a cold lake daily but I didnt think that taking the plunge in sharing my experience and spreading awareness of maternal mental health and The Happy Mums Foundation would be the biggest challenge in all of this. #sorrynotsorry for continuing to share my justgiving link and asking for others to share but it is clearly working. To have verbal and written messages from mum's saying the awareness is helping makes it all worth it. Thankyou everyone. 💛🏊♀️
