Well, along with money, you have been incredibly generous, donating items for the refuge as well as toiletries for the 'essentials bags' we make up to give to women who have fled. I was lucky. I never needed one as I stayed in my own house - complete with broken boiler, his defunct Saab convertible with his ex-wife's personal plate on my drive, every wall written on in marker pen, massive debts and baliffs hounding me. Nobody, male or female chooses an abuser. They choose us, use us, break us and abuse us. Thank you all SO much xx

Thank you everyone who supported me. It is much appreciated. I've been a refugee of sorts after having to leave home in my teens, and I've been a `battered woman' so I kinda get it. What I didn't bank on, was how much these experiences damage. The abused can really become the abuser without even realising it. But money and support helps to break the cycle, so thank you once again.
