Story
My name is Michael Chambers and I represent England Amputee Football Association (registered charity number 328551).
This year has seen the England team have been privileged enough to go to Turkey to the European Championships, in which we finished runners up to the host nation. We got to play at Besiktas in front of 42,000 fans!
This year we have another fantastic opportunity as we head to Mexico in October for the World Cup. We go there in high spirits from the European Championships. The draw has been done and we will play the host nation Mexico, our neighbours Ireland and newcomers Uruguay.
I have been lucky enough to play for England for a number of years but with doing so we have to raise our own funds in order to get to these coveted championships. I have been targeted to raise £1000 and with your help my dream of becoming a world cup winner may just come true!
To hopefully sway your decision, I will sport wonderfully pink hair to match my football boot throughout the tournament so if you want to see this, please donate!
All your donations are very much appreciated and I will keep everybody updated throughout the World Cup and the progress of our fundraising.
