As some of you may know Greenhills Pre-School was targeted by vandals yesterday who have ripped the fence down, damaged the playhouse and generally tried turning the play area upside down.

I’m organising a raffle and trying to raise funds to help recoup some of the costs of repairs and to buy a camera to cover the pre-school area.

Greenhills is a registered charity and shouldn’t have to put up with the unnecessary time and expense to keep the area safe for our children due to immature vandals.

Greenhills is my daughter’s place to learn, her place to make friends and more importantly a place where she feels safe when she’s not with her mum. Greenhills was also my pre-school 34 years ago and it means a great deal to me and the local community.

Parents, Mrs Booth, Mrs Monk and friends of Greenhills pulled together in the cold and rain this morning, because it means so much to them and nobody wanted to see an upset child realising their play area/equipment has been damaged when they turned up at school tomorrow.

Let’s raise as much money as we can to deter vandals, more security, more lighting etc.
