My son, Ben, has decided to go to Malawi next year and help to build and help out in a school for kids less fortunate than him.

I was impressed that he cared and that he was determined to do something outside his comfort zone. I offered to help him raise money to get there...but I felt that I should do something that would stick in his mind to show that I was impressed by his commitment.

It being November...I’m getting my “Movember“ on! A honking wispy ginger moustache, to join those raising awareness of the young man killer, testicular cancer, while showing my son I was sufficiently impressed by him that I could endure the embarrasment and ribbing at work for an entire month...

It is grotesque and getting worse....I shall update you as the month goes on. It’s a small gesture for a young lad with a big heart.
