Andy and Martin are both 50 years old this year and having been best friends since they were 13 and at school together they decided to do something special to celebrate their birthday. So after many discussions they are going to walk the 100 miles (161 km) of the Jurassic Coast In Devon. They plan to do 20 miles (32km) a day stopping overnight at B&Bs on the way. (Which they are funding themselves)

They want to raise sponsorship for 2 causes very close to their hearts.

Firstly for Tettenhall Wood School which provides education for children diagnosed with Autism. Freddie (who is a close friend‘s son)attends this school and has come on leaps and bounds since attending there thanks to the support given by the school to both the children and their parents. The school wants to create a sensory playground with water to give the children a safe environment to play. After funding cuts the school has to raise funds itself.

Secondly a very dear friend Julie is currently in a battle with breast cancer. She is doing amazingly and we are very proud of her. The thought is to raise funding to provide either medical equipment for the cancer unit at Good Hope or for something to make the patients‘s experience a little easier and more comfortable whilst attending the unit.

Please support Andy and Martin to raise funds for these two very worthwhile causes and to spur them on in what may be an arduous but enjoyable adventure in June 2019.
