Hi, Guy’s over the years both Diane and I, like many of you, have tried to do as much for local and national charities as we possibly could. This year we have decided to try and raise awareness of a major issue that devastates the communities it effects. Sadly suicide is the number one killer of men aged under 45 and we would like to try and not only raise awareness but also help to raise some much-needed funds for what started out as a local group in Halifax but has now spread throughout the UK with currently 14 groups meeting every Monday night. “The single biggest killer of men aged under 45 is suicide! In 2014, 4623 men took their own life. That's 12 men every day, one man every 2 hours!!!! 41% of men who contemplated suicide, felt they couldn't talk about their feelings. Only 20% of the U.K. Know that suicide is the most likely cause of death for men under 45. Let's show men all across the world that #ITSOKAYTOTALK.”
