We went to hospial the end of October thinking that my husband Paul had a chest infection and we could get an x ray and start on antibiotics. What a shock to be told his cheat was fine but he had no red bood cells. The teat started right away no one held anything back they rold us that they suspected myeloma. Test after test after test blood bone marrow scans are only the beginning..He was admitted to hospital straight away and chemo started. The reason he was so cold tired and finding it hard to breath was lack of oxgen being pumped around his body.My husband has just been diagnosed with muliple myeloma and has had to give up his job as a self employed joiner. The benefits have not started yet and i am a carer for our daughter. We are finding money differcult atm we need to travel backwards and forwards to the hospital fot treatments and we need to keep the house very warm as he doesn't have enough red blood cells to circulate to keep him warm We also need to adapt the house to adapt his illness e.g. a shower We saw his specialist this week and he is at stage 3 and will need more than the chemo as his bones have stated to get holes on them.
